Reeves To Return To Days (Soap World)
Days of Our Lives is set for two blasts from the past when
actress Melissa Reeves returns to the screen
The big return is Melissa Reeves who played the popular Jennifer
Horton before Stephanie Cameron.
The news will not only be a shock for fans but also for the
powers that be. When Missy unceremoniously quit in November 1995, she
was sued by Columbia Pictures Television for breach of contract.
Days made waves when they recast Jennifer with Cameron, who was
reportedly the girlfriend of Tom Langan's (DOOL Executive Producer)
personal trainer.
Apparently a Reeves redux has been boiling for some time. The
show expressed interest in her return in October 1999 but Melissa was
reluctant to commit for fear of treading on her co-stars toes and
upsetting storylines. She also wanted a flexible schedule to spend time
with her family.
Following her Days departure, Reeves has long been in demand for
other roles. Daytime honchos targeted her for Sunset Beach, Passions and
B&B while producer Aaron Spelling also showed interest in her for
primetime projects.
Here We Come John!
Drake Hogestyn (John) will be signing autographs at the
"Farm Fresh Extravaganza" in Hampton, VA on Sunday, October
15th. For more information, please call (757) 369-6179. (U.S.A)
Meet The Stars!
Kevin Spirtas (Craig), Patrika Darbo (Nancy) and Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe),
The Wesley's from NBC's Days of Our Lives will be appearing in Cut Bank
(north of Great Falls), Montana on Saturday, September 30 . They will be
donating their time and efforts for a kick-off event to raise money for
medical supplies for the Glacier County Medical Center which serves a
substantial number of Native Americans. The Hospital hopes to raise $1.2
million over an extended period. The event includes an O-mok-see Family
Rodeo and Games at 3:00pm at the Cut Bank Saddle Club (1 mile east of
Cut Bank city limits), a Meet and Greet Autograph Session at 7:00pm and
an Auction at 8:00pm both to be held at the Cut Bank Elk's Lodge. For
